The event was heavy with music and dance,
featuring, spoken words, African Jazz, classical African music, Afrocentric
music, African hip-hop, Street dancers, circus performances, samba
dancers, Gum boot dancing, capoeira and much more. |
| We hosted an array of some of the most exciting acts
in African arts, such as Weird MC, Wunmi, Tunde Jegede, DJ Eric Soul,
Koko Kanyinda, Malika Booker and Zena Edwards. |

People encountered and enjoyed a broad range
of African perspectives through talks produced by Roots (BBC London)
featuring the likes of Horace Ove, Hannah Pool, Ty, Ras Kwame, Hassan
Arero and Janet Asante.

| We also featured an art exhibition by Creative Fruits,
a fashion show by Anisa & Co and Evalution, plus Egyptian dance
and Djembe drum workshops. This was enjoyed by all alongside mouth
watering Ghanaian cuisine from Jollof Pot. |
