The sounds and tastes of Africa are back in Hackney, as Shoreditch celebrates Africa '06 with a spectacular event in Haggerston Park from 1pm - 7pm.
Join us for a Sunday afternoon of enjoyment, laughter, singing, eating, dancing and fun for all the whole family.

Welcome to London’s liveliest African gathering

featuring:-
Live bands, gospel choirs, street dancing, African hip-hop, kora players and much more.

 

Experience the colour, vibrancy, noise and energy of African market at our African market offering clothes, books, games, accessories and ornaments

Take part in djembe drumming and Gum boot dance classes

Enjoy lots and lots of mouth-watering food from across the continent


Contact us if you would like a stall at the event. We are also looking for more African acts for the Hackney's Finest stage.

DJ set from Eric Soul (Afrogroov).
