"The Dilemma of a Ghost"
Border Crossings presents a play by Ama Ata Aidoo
Thursday 15 - Saturday 17 Nov
8.00pm

Passions explode when cultures collide in this lavish production. When African-American Eulalie marries Ato, the sensitive and intelligent Ghanaian student she meets at university, she dreams that they will be ‘the sweetest and loveliest things in Africa and America rolled together’. But, when he brings her to Africa, the ghosts of the slave trade return to haunt the golden couple.

This classic play by winner of the Nelson Mandela Prize Ama Ata Aidoo is brought to life by the National Theatre of Ghana and Ghana’s leading performer of the ten-stringed harp-lute seprewa, Osei Korankye. Celebrate 50 years of Ghana’s independence with this enthralling heady mix of music, dance and sheer exuberance.
